Akshaya's favorite thing about middle school was all the field trips. In her time in 8th grade, she liked that we got to do fun activities that also taught us things. In high school she looks forward to having a fun school. From the past three years she will forever stick to studying hard and doing her very best. Georgia Tech is her dream college. This is Amberley. She loved getting to hang out with her favorite teachers during lunch. Amberley's favorite part of 8th grade was getting to hang out with the other students in Mr. Amrine's compass because they treated each other respectively even though they didn't know each other prior to class. Her advice to upcoming 8th graders was "It may not seem like you have a lot of work, but get those grades up before you get hit with the mountain of projects. Be prepared." The one biggest change that occurred in middle school for her was the way she and the other 8th graders treat each other and their attitude towards everything. During the last year, she has really learned that she is not alone and that everyone is unique in their own way. While in middle school, Mrs. Gillespie had the biggest impact on her because she was funny and would tell them everything. She was the best! Amberley can't wait for high school and trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Even though she doesn't have a dream college, she can't wait to go to whichever one picks in the end. Something Amberley is interested that others might not be is CSI. She loves to ice skate in her free time. Once Amberley graduates from college she hopes to have a job where she can make enough money to live off that she will love. This is Caroline A. Caroline's favorite thing about middle school is getting the chance to meet new people and to have lots of fun. This is Lauren, her favorite thing about middle school was building a lot of new friendships and Webb Hero’s Day. Her favorite thing from 8th grade was meeting a ton of new friends. The biggest thing that has changed about her since 6th grade is that she got a lot more outgoing during the years. In high school, she is looking forward to meeting new people, playing basketball and cheering on the sideline with her friends at the football games. After this past year, something that she has learned is that even though you might not want to do something, it might actually be beneficial in the long run. Not only was she a teacher but she was the best basketball coach for the WBMS team in 7th grade. She makes everything fun and she is very fun to talk everyday. One thing that she is interested in that most people aren’t is that she loves collecting shoes. Something unique about her is that she's obsessed with shoes and loves buying new shoes. Something that she hopes to accomplish in life is going pro for basketball (WNBA) and having a nice and healthy family.
This is Milli. Her favorite thing in middle school was her newfound freedom. Her favorite thing about 8th grade was having lunch with her friends at the park when everyone was online. Through middle school she (in her own words) has gotten more mature. In high school she looks forward to meeting new people. Something she learned that she will take with her is that if she can continue her education, even though it was such a weird year, she can do anything. Her dream college is UGA aka. Georgia. This is Oluwatimilehin, he goes by Timi. While in middle school he loved running track in 6th grade. Unfortunately because of covid - 8th grade wasn't the best. But after this past year, he wants to believe that anything is possible. Timi's advice to upcoming 8th graders is to try your hardest and try not to get too stressed. While in middle school, Timi feels his views have changed on a lot of things, his character has changed. He feels the pandemic and moving schools played a huge part of this growth. He is looking forward to being able to decide his strengths and weaknesses and taking the first step to his professional career. Timi hopes to attend Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Timi didn't attend WBMS until 8th grade - the teacher who impacted him the most was from his old school. She really got him interested in science and even helped him find the club Science Olympiad. He really enjoys math, chemistry and neurology. Timi competes in Science competitions and two years ago he placed first and second place in two separate events. After graduating college, Timi hopes to go to medical school and change the lives of others as a surgeon. He wouldn't mind also publishing a book in his life. This is Rahul. Rahul's favorite thing about middle school is the type of teachers that are here. Rahul says how kind and supportive they are and how they got us through each year. His favorite thing about 8th grade was the many bonds and friends he made through the year even though he was virtual. Some advice he would give upcoming 8th graders is to work hard and never give up. Rahul thinks that the thing that has changed the most about him since 6th grade is he has become more responsible and he focuses on work more. In high school he is looking forward to going to a new school, to make new friends, and meet new teachers. This past year has taught Rahul to never give up when things are hard. The biggest change Isabel sees in herself since 6th grade, is that her personality is completely different. Isabel loved having Mrs. Harton in middle school. Her class was so fun and always made her feel as if she wasn't even at school because of how fun it was. She can't wait for the new class in high school. Even though she doesn't know exactly where she wants to go for college yet, she hope to travel the world and see new places! After college she hopes to have a successful career and follow all of her dreams. This is Jaeyoung, also known as Joey. Joey's favorite thing from middle school are his friends and PE. Even though its new to everyone Joey's favorite thing as an 8th grader is learning online. His advice to upcoming 8th graders is to finish your homework and to study for assessments. Joey's hair has changed the most from 6th grade. Joey hopes to accomplish becoming a doctor. He has learned to stay clean and avoid diseases and viruses properly this year. Joey's dream college is Georgia Tech. The quote he lives by is that, "Every moment is a fresh beginning." Joey wants to be a doctor once he graduates college. Mrs. Coker had the biggest impact on him thought middle school, "because she was funny and kind to everyone. I had lots of fun in her class," says Joey. Joey is interested in being a doctor.
This is Katherine who goes by McCall. While in middle school, her favorite part was getting to see her friends everyday. She loved having more freedom in 8th grade than any other grade. McCall's advice to upcoming 8th graders is to not be scare, it's just one year and then you are onto the next! Mrs. McFarland had the biggest impact on McCall because she was always so nice and caring to all of her students. During the past year, she has learned to make sure to treat people the way you want to be treated. McCall can't wait to make more friends in high school. McCall likes to play tennis and feels she is unique because she is nice to everyone! She hopes to attend UGA in the future. After college, she hopes to travel around the world, especially Switzerland. She also hopes to get a successful job that she loves. She says the biggest thing that changed about her was being able to see and meet people I really fit in with, instead of squeezing myself in with other people. She is looking forward to freedom in high school, as well as the people, the opportunities, and the sports. Something she learned after the past year is life doesn’t wait for you, you wait for it. That if you don't take risks you are not living and something is not a challenge without troubles. Kiera says her dream college is Auburn University. She lives by the quote "what goes around comes around". And one thing Kiera wants to do is to Travel the world. The teachers that had the greatest impact on her were Mrs. Liming and Dr. Okwotche as they understood her and were able to help her. They were able to act as a friend and a teacher and make sure she felt as if she belonged. One thing she is interested that most people aren't is her wanting to start her own business.
This is Laila. Laila's favorite thing about 8th grade sitting at lunch with her friends. Lunch was a time to eat and catch up with her friends. Her advice to upcoming 8th graders is to maintain your grades because they always come first. Something that has changed about her since 6th grade is the way she sees herself. She says that she now sees herself as a smart 8th grader who has learned many valuable ways to study wile having a legion of teachers of teachers encourage her. The thing she is looking forward to the most in high school is making new friends. In this past year she has learned how to manage her money and time. Her dream college is either NYU or UCLA. A quote that Laila lives her life by is "Make your life a masterpiece; imagine no limitations on what you can be". If she could do one thing after graduating college she would travel to Europe. The teacher that had the biggest impact on Laila in middle school was Ms. Liming. She always had a smile on her face whenever Laila walked in the room and she always made her laugh. Laila is interested in astronomy and conspiracy theories. She volunteers in the field of helping special Ed kids. And in her life she wants to accomplish getting her masters degree.
This is Leela, and just like any other eight grader she enjoys talking to her friends and teachers and learning fun subjects. She also looks fowwards to making new friends and learning in high school too. Her favorite thing from eighth grade was learning science and completing all of the fun projects. Leela feels that since 6th grade her personalitly and additudes chaged exponitialy since 6th grade. Leela has many favorite teachers such as Mr.Iving and Mrs. Liming but the techer who had the most impact on her is Mrs. Coker, "when you talk to her it feels like you are talking to a friend and not a teacher. She understands people well and makes me feel better when I feel down." Leela wished to attend Cambride University which is located all the way in England. After college she hopes to become a doctor and travel the world with her friends and family. Osmething unique that leela does is play the violin and sings Indian classical music. Leela is also interested in reading and chemistry.
This is Malcolm. The thing he likes most about middle school is being able to hang out with his friends all the time. But, his favorite thing about being in 8th grade is going to PE everyday. Some advice he would give to upcoming 8th graders is to do your best because this is when it really starts to count. In middle school, the teacher that made the biggest impact on him was Mrs. Coker because she was always there for him. In high school he looks forward to having more freedom. This past year with all the chaos around him - he feels this year has taught him that change happens. When he thinks about his future, his dream college is the University of Miami. If he could do one thing in the world once he graduates college is to become a sports agent. Something unique that Malcolm does is he plays the piano. Something that he wants to accomplish in life is to have a loving family and be able to support them.
This is Mridula her favorite thing about middle school was the 6th grade field trip to six flags, where she rode the Superman roller coaster for the first time. She also loved watching Romeo and Juliet in Mrs. Karim's class 9th ELA class in 8th grade. Some advice to the upcoming 8th graders is to work hard and enjoy every day of it because the year goes by fast. The biggest thing that changed from 6th grade is her personality and patience. She is looking forward to the plentiful academic opportunities and freedom in high school. After the past year, she has learned that we cannot control the future or change the past; the only thing we can do is focus on the present. Her dream college is Brown University. The teacher that had the biggest impact on her was Ms. Boltz because she taught her various writing techniques and she would always try to make class fun. This is Saraswat. He goes by Shish! He has truly loved the field trips and end of the year activities like Marvel vs. DC. Shish's advice to upcoming 8th graders is to make sure to stay organized. He feels his personality has vastly changed since the beginning of middle school. After the past year, he has learned that it is super important to stay organized and he will keep this with him going into the future. While at WBMS, Ms. Pollifrone had the biggest impact on him because she was the most fun teacher he ever had! He is excited for art class and learning new stuff in high school. He hopes to attend any college with a good art curriculum. Something Shish is good at is that he can draw really well and loves anime. After graduating, Shish hopes to start a comic series and hopes to become a successful comic artist in life! The quote he lives his life by is, "don't stop until your idols become your rivals!"
This is Cathleen, her favorite thing in middle school was hanging out with her friends at lunch and meeting new people. Her favorite thing from 8th grade was the teachers. They were really nice and supportive. Some advice for the upcoming 8th graders is Don't try to be popular, focus on your studies and you will get places in life. the biggest thing that changed about herself since 6th grade would be her voice. she used to have a really high pitched voice and now she doesn't. something Cathleen is looking forward to about high school is seeing her best friend who hasn't been in the same school as her since 3rd grade. Over this past year she has learned not to take things for granted. She thought that she would be able to do all these things and COVID has made me realize the stuff she already had. Mrs. Carmichael had the biggest impact on her because she was the one who helped her the most. She was really nice and her favorite teacher out of all the teachers she has ever had. She is interested in being a ballerina. Most people take dance classes when they are five and they just do it for fun, but she wants to be a professional ballet dancer. Something unique that Cathleen can do is 25 fuettes on her left and 20 fuettes on her right, on POINTE. Something she hopes to accomplish in life is to become a professional for American Ballet Theatre.
This is Claire. She has loved getting to hang out with her friends and meeting new people while in middle school. She did enjoy being able to learn at home during 8th grade. Claire's advice for upcoming 8th graders is to prepare and plan out your schedule to stay on top of things because 8th grade is harder than 7th grade. While in middle school, Claire became more productive and studied more efficiently. Mrs. McNeal had the biggest impact on Claire because she has never had a teacher who was as efficient in teaching while also interacting with students in a fun way! Claire can't wait to meet new people and take new classes in high school! One thing she learned over the past year is that human interaction is so important and something that should be valued in both society and education! Claire hopes to attend Julliard in the future! After graduating, she hopes to travel through all the countries in Asia. Claire loves classical music and art as well as playing the violin. She hopes to move to NYC in her lifetime. Maya's favorite thing from middle school was Jr. Beta trips because you get to meet new people and travel with friends. One way she has changed from 6th grade is she has become more opinionated and outspoken. She is most excited to drive in high school. She loved all her teachers here at WBMS. Over the past year, she has learned to manage her time more wisely and focus on one thing at a time. Palaak can't wait to pick more of her classes and make more decision on her future. After graduating she hopes to help all sick people no matter the place or time. Something she is interested in that other might not be is being able to simplifying life, it is an array of twists and turns - so she feels it is more fun and simpler by removing unnecessary parts of life that are negative. Raymond's favorite thing in middle school was the nice teachers he had. His favorite thing in eight grade was getting to finally be back in the classroom. The biggest change for Ray is that he became more reserved in class than when he started middle school. Ray says he appreciates all of his teachers. He looks forward to electives in high school, being able to drive and play baseball. His dream college is Georgia Tech. After graduating, he hopes to live a life that isn't dictated by his job or how much money he has. He really enjoys baseball. He believes in the quote, "Go for broke." Sam's advice for upcoming eighth graders is to stay strong if you are going through a tough time because it will come out okay. Sam says that his passions have changed the most since sixth grade. She doesn’t really have a favorite thing from 8th grade because she's been online all year but doing work is much easier than online. Advice to upcoming 8th graders is don’t want last minute for anything and assignments don’t go away. Biggest thing that changed about herself is her look, personality and style and gained interest in different things. Something she will take into the future is assignments aren't going to go away. She's looking forward to freedom and courses she's taking. Her dream college is university of California but would try to aim for Harvard. This is Alexa. Her favorite thing from 8th grade is being the oldest in the school and having a lot of the staff already know us, so they go easier on us. Her favorite thing in middle school was PE. She thinks the biggest change about herself since 6th grade is that she is a lot less naïve. She is excited to choose classes to take that are more specific and interesting to her in high school. Something that she has learned from this past year is you have to learn to adapt to what’s going on around you. Her dream school is UGA. If she could do anything in the world after she graduates she would go live in a foreign country, somewhere like Israel or Australia. Not forever, but for a little while just to get a taste of life outside the US. This is Andrew, he goes by AJ. His favorite part of middle school was the Jag Jam at the end of 6th grade. AJ's favorite part of 8th is either lunch in the cafeteria or in homeroom because it was fun to talk and chill with his friends. AJ's advice for upcoming 8th graders is to make sure you turn your work in. The thing that has changed the most about AJ since 6th grade is his friend group and he feels he has branched out more and made many friends that he wouldn't know what to do without. In high school, AJ is looking forward to a new experience. From this past year, AJ has learned that it is important to do things outside of school like sports, so you can learn new skills and meet new people. His dream college is any D1 college that is for either football or baseball. This is Elizabeth! Some fun facts about Elizabeth is that she loves to dance, loves waking up early to watch the sunset, as well as watching Sherlock Holmes on BBC. She loved getting to meet new people while in middle school. Even though Elizabeth was remote this year, she loved being able to still keep in touch with them and hang out over zoom. Elizabeth's biggest advice for upcoming 8th graders is to focus on yourself. Work to strive to be better, and grow yourself into a better person all the while still having fun. The biggest change for Elizabeth from 6th grade to 8th grade was learning how to balance everything she does from academics, to dance and to still having a social life. Mrs. McFarland had the biggest impact on Elizabeth because she helped her open her views on her relationship between the material you learn in school and how it connects to real life. She can't wait for all the new opportunities she will have in high school as well as all the new people she will meet. Elizabeth hopes to attend Stanford University. After college, she hopes to be accepted and attend a medical school. Once she is done with school - Elizabeth wants to become an OB/GYN and make an impact on others. Ty Fowler's favorite thing from middle school was when he dissected the pigs in 7th grade. His favorite thing about 8th grade is his homeroom and he said "I look forward to the class everyday." This is Arnav. Arnav's favorite thing about middle school was finding friends with the same sense of humor as him. Arnav's favorite thing from eighth grade was all the projects that we did. One of Jack favorite things about middle school is enjoying the weekends. During 8th grade, he loved the freedom he got and would advise upcoming 8th graders not to worry much. He has learned many things that he will take with him to his future, but has not decided on his college. Jack wishes to skydive after graduating college. This is Kiwane who often goes by KJ. KJ loves old rap music and is amazing at basketball. Some might say he is even the best at WBMS. Over this past year, KJ has learned that it's not necessarily where you are learning, it's about what you are learning. His favorite thing in middle school was getting to play and start in basketball during his 7th grade year. The biggest change he saw in himself during his time in middle school was his height! Shockingly, he really enjoyed staying at home and learning online during his 8th grade year. His advice with experience to upcoming 8th graders is to make sure you study! Studying is the only way for success. During middle school, he felt Dr. Okwoche had the biggest impact on him. He can't wait for the sports scene in high school. He hopes to make the JV and is aiming to make the Varisty team as soon as he can. His dream college is Duke or Illinois. After college he hopes to not only make the NBA but to work hard enough that he can see his family and build a school for kids in that area. " She has always helped me and given me advice when I needed it. She is such an amazing teacher and her class has been amazing. She is an awesome teacher and I am going to miss her." Janice liked the social aspect of middle school. She liked to make new friends in middle school. Janice's favorite thing from eight graders grade was connections. Janice advices upcoming eight graders to do all of their work and turn it in on time. Janice says her style and personality has changed the most since sixth grade. Janice is looking to having more freedom in high school and making new friends. Janice says she learned to show kindness to everyone and to stick with your true friends. Joshua's loved free seating at lunch and that different teachers taught different material in his time in middle school. In 8th grade his favorite thing is that 8th graders are the oldest and basically knew everyone. Advice he would give to up comers is that make sure you have all your work and that you did it well. The biggest thing that changed about Joshua is that he started caring for is grades and worked hard. In high school he looks forward to biology and more freedom. He will always remember to get his work done as soon as possible. Joshua's dream college is UGA, university of Georgia. Mrs. Meddin had the biggest impact on him in 6th + 7th grade because she made math easy for him. Josh is strongly interested in herpetology of reptiles and similar animals. He has two fish tanks, a chameleon, and a 40 gal tank for his turtle. He takes care of them by himself. Joshua wants to accomplish being a person to study and work with reptiles.
This is Lindsey. Lindsey's favorite thing about middle school was how the whole school day was built. She loves how you got to go to a lot of different classes and how you're not confined to two classrooms every day. One of her favorite things about 8th grade is how much smaller the classes are. Some advise she has for rising 8th graders is the work may be difficult, but just try your hardest and remember to make time for friends and family. Something that has changed most about Lindsey in her opinion since 6th grade would be her outlook on life and who she associates with. Freedom and opportunities are something that Lindsey looks forward to in high school. After the past year she has learned that even if things seem difficult and rushed there is always time to do what you want. Lindsey's dream collage is Boston University. One teacher that has had the most impact on Lindsey was Mrs. Wood. She says My 8th grade home room teacher, Mrs. Wood, she has helped me so much this year. She always made time to help me and was just an incredible teacher and friend to have. One thing that Lindsey is interested in that most people aren't is psychology. She also love to read and play the Viola. Lastly she wants to complete her masters and doctorate degree in her life time.
This is Risha. She loved the lockers and school events during middle school. Her favorite thing from 8th grade was more freedom and being able to sit at the back of the bus. Risha's advice to upcoming 8th graders is to do all of your assignments and enjoy the last year in middle school. Risha thinks she has become more mature and calm during her time in middle school. After the past year, she has learned to be more flexible and to not overthink things. Mrs. Anderson had the biggest impact on Risha because she always encouraged her, taught her so much and was always super kind. Risha can't wait to make new friends, go to new clubs and have more freedom in high school. Her dream college is Yale or Oxford University. After graduating, she hopes to become a millionaire and successful. During her free time, Risha enjoys painting and helping hold a summer camp for little kids. This is Samhitha. Her favorite thing about middle school was making new friends. Her favorite thing about 8th grade was group assingments in ELA. Her advice to upcoming 8th graders is "try your best, pay attention in school, don’t procrastinate, and study hard. Also, create a balance for yourself between school and other things, so you don’t get burned out." The thing that has changed about Samhitha since 6th grade is her mindset. Something she is looking forward to high school is learning new things and having fun with her friends. This past year has taught her to make the best out of what she can. This is Sofiya Her favorite thing in middle school was going to the media center. She would stop by in the morning, during lunch, and sometimes during class. Some of her favorite books were held there. Her favorite thing about 8th grade was Mrs. Karim's 9th Lit class. Mrs. Karim always gave her praise for what she said and made her feel proud and confident in what she was saying. The class got to explore different topics and perspectives and she enjoyed that. Sofiya's advice to upcoming 8th graders is to figure out what people and things you enjoy so that you can spend time with those people and doing those things. She says to also focus on your classes and be responsible with your grades. If you focus on the stuff you enjoy that will help you decide things about your future. The thing that has changed the most about Sofiya since 6th grade is her perspective on life. In high school she is looking forward to be treated older and more mature. She is also looking forward to picking her own electives and chose her own path. After the past year she has learned how to be more independent and reliant on herself. Her dream college is Duke. If she could do one thing when she graduates college she would become successful so she can pursue other ambitions without worrying about money. Sofiya's favorite teacher from middle school was Mrs. Anderson. Mrs. Anderson was her 6th grade language arts teacher and helped her become who she is today. She connected with her students and cared for them. Mrs. Anderson helped Sofiya find her love for literature. She says that Mrs. Anderson was a pillar of support and enabled for her to grow not only as a writer but also as a person. I would like to introduce Surya. He lives his life by the quote, "NEVER GIVE UP." One thing he changed from 6th grade was make more friends. After that he wants to get a job. His favorite thing in middle school is having more freedom than he did while in elementary school. Surya can't wait until high school because he is looking forward to more freedom. During this past year, he learned the key idea of when to respond and when not to respond. His advice to upcoming 8th graders is to STAY ORGANIZED! The teacher that has had a great impact on Surya was actually two teachers. Mr. Kaiser and Mr. Irvin both pushed Surya to work hard and it made him a better student. This is Emily. Her favorite thing about middle school was when she got to go on the Six Flags field trip. Her favorite thing in 8th grade was learning from home. Some advice she would give upcoming 8th graders is for them to "try their best and to not compare themselves to others because everyone's best is different. Remember to have balance; take breaks and have fun after learning and studying." She thinks the biggest thing that has changed about her is that she has grown up as a person and learned life lessons that will she will carry with her for the rest of her life. Emily says, "She had the most impact on me during middle school because I feel more confident in writing now than I did at the beginning of the school year." Madison really enjoyed her time in middle school meeting new people. She even looks forward to meeting new people in high school too. Michal's favorite thing in middle school was all the fun activities she got to do. Her favorite thing in 8th grade was all the support she got from all of his teachers, her advice for upcoming 8th graders was to not start any unnecessary drama for any reason. Michael says that she has become more independent since 6th grade, and says after the year we have had this year - she feels it is important to always try your best even if it doesn't count. While at Webb Bridge, she feels Dr. Okwoche had the biggest impact on her because she made science fun and was sweet and always made her smile. Michal is fluent in two languages and hopes to use this when she travels the world. Her life goal is to make tons of money and be really successful in her job. Patrick Meehan's favorite thing from middle school was hanging out with friends and his favorite thing from 8th grade is also hanging out with friends. Some advice he would give to rising 8th graders is 8th grade isn't scary and you only have one more year left till high school. His biggest change from 6th grade is his maturity. His advice to eighth graders was to always do your work. The biggest change he went through in high school was that he started doing his work more. Juan really looks forward to high school sports. One thing that Juan learned over the past years in middle school is that you should do you work in other classes so you don’t have homework. He wants to make it to pro soccer after he graduates college, Ms. Okenica was the teacher that helped him the most during his time in middle school, the one thing unique that Juan can do that many people can't is that he can think of soccer moves as he is playing. Julieta's favorite thing from middle school was Webb Hero sidekicks. Her favorite thing from 8th grade is 9th period ELA or compass. Julieta's advice to upcoming 8th graders would be to work had, study, and turn your assignments in on time. The biggest thing Julieta thinks has changed about herself is that she is now more confident. She is looking forward to the opportunities in high school. This is Neha. Neha's favorite thing about middle school was field day and her favorite thing about 8th grade was read through WBMS day. Some advice she would give upcoming 8th graders is to have balance between and work and school. Neha´s biggest change throughout middle school is that she has become less forgetful and more responsible. In high school she is looking forward to orchestra and the overseas trips that she has heard about. This past year has taught Neha that balance is necessary to keep her from getting stressed too much. Neha lives her life by the quote "You must always have faith in people. And, most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself." Her dream college is Harvard and after she graduates she wants to go to the South Pole to see penguins up close. The teacher that had the biggest impact on Neha was Dr. Barket since she spent three years in his class and he helped her improve her playing. Neha is very interested in politics and she does debate. In her life, Neha hopes to get a job at a law firm and become as successful as Elle Woods and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

This is Akil. His favorite thing in middle school was Marvel vs. Dc. During 8th grade, he really loved all of his teachers. The biggest change in Caleila during middle school was her personality. While at WBMS, Mrs. Carter had the biggest impact on Caleila because she made school and learning fun! This is Mia Song. Her favorite thing to do in middle school was walking to class with her friends and connections. Her favorite thing from 8th grade was seeing all her friends that she hasn't seen since quarantine. Some advice she wants to give to upcoming 8th graders is that "It's not scary, It's practically the same as 6th and 7th grade but with different teachers and classes. I would just say, make it worth it. It's your last year in Middle School, and you should make it a memory." The biggest change about her is that she met lots of new friends since 6th grade, which are some of her best friends now and she has grown much more mature. Madame Awad has impacted her since she's had her in 6th grade in the sense of it being fun. Madame Awad taught her to always practice so she gets better. At first, she felt skeptical of her French skills, but Madame Awad pressured her to keep practicing, and now her French class was her highest grade class. In high school, she looks forward to having much more freedom. Something she learned after this past year is that people will leave and new people will leave but new people will also come. Her dream college is Stanford or Vanderbilt. The quote that she lives by is "A glowstick has to break before it starts glowing." One thing she finds interesting that most people don't is running. One thing that is unique about her is that she plays the cello and was accepted to the GMEA All State Orchestra, which is a very competitive state orchestra program. One of Sadra's favorte things from middle school were his 7th and 8th grade teachers. However, his favorite thing from 8th grade was his teachers as they were very nice to him, he appreciated all of the things they did for him. Some advice that he would give to rising 8th graders is to work hard and they can accomplish anything. Sadra also believes that the biggest thing he changed about himself from 6th grade was how much he cared about grades, he used to not care about his grades. However, once he got older, he understood that good grades were necessary for a good scholarship. Sadra is also looking forward to getting good grades and developing his soccer skills in Highschool. One thing that he has learned is to always to be nice to people. His dream college is either Harvard or Georgia Tech. The biggest change he went through since sixth grade was the responsibilities he had to handle, Ronak looks forward to meeting new people and having more freedom. He has learned to never take things for granted, his dream college his Caltech, the one quote Ronak lives by is "To be successful you must be unique, you must be so different that if people want what you have, they have to come to you to get it." He wants to travel to many countries after he graduates college, the teacher that had the most impact on him during middle school was Mr. Amrine because he had fun ways of teaching and also because he was really supportive. Her advice for upcoming 8th graders is, "Don’t be lazy," which is easier said than done. The biggest thing that changed about Saranya from 6th grade was her friend group. She looks forward to having more freedom and driving when she gets to high school. After she graduates from high school, she hopes to go to her dream college Georgia Tech. After college, Saranya wishes to accomplish traveling to as many countries as she possibly could go to. She wishes to go on the journey all by herself and be accompanied by a dog. She also wants to and learn about the people and the culture of the countries that she visits. Saranya enjoys going hiking and playing the violin. The teacher that had the most impact on Tristan was Mrs. McFarland because she shared many valuable life lessons and experiences with her students. Tristan is also very interested in philosophy. Mrs. Carmichael has had the biggest impact on Alahna because even though her class was intense she still let the have freedom! The biggest change for him during middle school is that now he feels he doesn't have to study as much as he did in 6th grade. While at Webb Bridge, Ms. Moran and Mr. Prather have made a huge impact on him while in school. He can't wait until he can take AP Biology in high school. One thing he hopes to accomplish in the future is to own a multibillion dollar company. Something Miles is interested in that others aren't is science and history! One thing Miles hopes to accomplish in life is to become a CEO.
Noah's favorite thing for middle school is math. Some advice he gives to rising 8th graders is to take your time and enjoy life the most you can. Noah has been slowly improving his grades throughout middle school. He looks forward to meeting new people and seeing his new classes in high school. He has learned to treat people how you want to be treated. Noah does not have a dream college yet. The quote he lives by is, "Whether you think you can or you think you can't; You're right." Noah wants to be a chef or be in the Computer Tech business after college. The teacher that had the biggest impact during him is Mrs. Consola. He says, "she always made the class fun and it was enjoyable the different ways we did math." Noah is interested in collecting POPS. Noah is proud of his art that not many people know about. The one thing Noah hopes to accomplish in life is that he wants to make his parents proud.
This is Sarah. Sarah's favorite thing about middle school is how there are so many nice people here. Her favorite thing about 8th grade was her friends and learning in new environments. Some advice she would give upcoming 8th graders is to get on your teachers' good side and do your work. Sarah thinks her biggest change since 6th grade is that she now has more confidence. Something she looks forward to in high school is more freedom and working for her future. Something that she has learned in the past year is that friends are very important part of your life. Sarah's dream college is Oxford and after she graduates she would love to travel the world with her best friend. The teacher that had the biggest impact on Sarah was Ms. Coker, because she made science and fun and had a big impact on how Sarah looked at school. Something Sarah is interested in is traveling to different places that she hasn’t been before. And something unique she does is swim and she is proud that she does it because of how good she has gotten. In her life Sarah hopes to be able to graduate and get a good job.
This is Sydney, her favorite thing about middle school has been the six flags trip. I 8th grade she has enjoyed getting closer to everyone who is face to face. Her advice for upcoming 8th graders is to be yourself, to not stress over every little thing and to be organized. The thing that has changed the most about her since 6th grade is her appearance and she has gained much more confidence. In high school, she is looking forward to lacrosse and marching band. In this past she has learnt to not be afraid to branch out to new people and make new friends. Her dream college is Georgia. A quote she lives by is, "Be the change you wish to see in the world." When she graduates she wants to get a job she loves. The teacher that made the biggest impact on her was Mrs. McFarland because she was nice and cared about all her students. Something Sydney is interested is helping save the world by using less plastic and recycling. Something that she is proud of is the fact that she is determined and no matter how many times she fails at something she will always try again whether it is in a sense of academics or sports.
This is Aishwarya, her favorite thing about middle school was her teachers and friends. Her favorite part of 8th grade was having a fun compass class. Her advice for upcoming 8th graders is to not stress yourself out and to take a moment to breath every once in a while. The thing that has changed the most about her since 6th grade is that she has learned to love herself and not seek acceptance from others. In high school she is looking forward to be growing into an adult and being old enough to make her own decisions. Something Aishwarya has learned this last year has been to live in the moment and cherish what she instead of worrying about the future. She doesn’t have a dream college but she would really like to get into Oxford. A quote she lives by is, "Even if I don’t have the prettiest smile, at least I smile the widest." When she graduates she want to work to end corruption. The teacher that has had the biggest impact on Aishwarya is Mme. Awad, because she has been there for Aishwarya her whole middle school career, is easy to talk to, and makes her feel welcome and loved. She is interested in collecting old records from the 90s and 2000s. Something she is proud of is being able to make people laugh and smile, because it makes her feel needed when she can see that she lightened someone's day. In her life she wants to be happy with herself and her life no matter what her life or wealth looks like.
This is Eric. His favorite thing during middle school was all his friends! In 8th grade, he really enjoyed having more time to work on his work. His advice to upcoming 8th graders is to not procrastinate. As he got older, he has become more mature. While at the Webb, Mrs. Fernalld had the biggest impact on Eric because she taught him a ton of Science things and Eric LOVES Science. He can't wait to make new friends in high school. His dream college is Stanford. When Eric graduates college, he wants to go to Asia. Something Eric does that he is proud of is his fencing (the sport). He also loves trying new foods. Eric would like to become a doctor when he is older. A quote that Eric lives by is, "It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities." After this crazy year, Eric has learned to not give up, even if the situation is bad.
Tanner liked middle school. His favorite thing from not only 8th grade but his entire time here was P.E. His advice to upcoming 8th graders is to do good in school and stay focused. The biggest thing that has changed about Tanner since 6th grade is his maturity level. Mrs. Coker had the biggest impact on him because she was so nice and would not stop explaining something until everyone understood it. She would go out of her way to help you. She was the best! With high school just around the corner, Tanner is looking forward to sports and Esports. During this crazy year, Tanner has learned to never doubt Mrs. Coker. Tanner's dream college is Georgia Tech. The quote he lives his life by is, "Don’t give up, unless you've tired it again." If Tanner could do anything once he graduates college, he wants to live in a nice house with his friends with really good Wi-Fi. Tanner is very interested in working hard at everything he does. Something unique that tanner does that he is proud of is his ability to play rocket league. He is proud of his rank (Chanp). Tanner hopes in his lifetime to have enough money for a PC and a nice gaming setup.
