This is Madison H. She loves Country music. The biggest change for her since 6th grade is that she found who she really is. Now, she feels liked and has people who care about her. Her favorite thing from 8th grade was being stage manager for the school play. Madison loved the cast, her crew, and the adults that helped pull it all together. However in 8th grade specifically, Ahmed loved the teachers and all the people I have met along the way. All the teachers and students in the hallways and every classroom made her feel like she belonged in the community. Her advice to the upcoming 8th graders is always to keep working hard without a doubt and not cheat yourself and the people around you. There is always more than one path to get to a destination, and in order to get there, you must work hard and persevere. Cheating is not going to affect you in any reasonable way. If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you in any way, but if you are determined to learn, no one can stop you or step in the way. Work hard and succeed! She has changed a lot since 6th grade regarding communication, collaboration, and confidence. Back in 6th grade, she used to be very introverted. She barely collaborated or communicated with anyone. She made new friends; however, she never focused a chunk of her time on talking or hanging out with friends, thanks to her introversion. She became independent going through many obstacles, which stressed her out and killed her confidence back then. Now, in 8th grade, she is delighted to work with her friends and classmates. She enjoyed talking and having with them; therefore, her introversion is decreasing. She is looking forward to more freedom, new friendships and acquaintances, and new experiences. She would have made more friends and taken science more seriously than she already did to have a better balance with great friends and excellent grades. Her dream colleges are NYU and UGA. This is Phoenix Y. His favorite thing from middle school was friends. His favorite thing from 8th grade was the teachers. Some advice he would give to upcoming 8th graders is to work hard and study. The biggest thing that he thinks changed about himself since 6th grade was his confidence. The thing he is most looking forward to in high school is more freedom. One thing he would have done differently while in middle school is worked harder in classes he didn’t do too well in. His dream college is North Carolina. A quote he lives by is "be happy." If he could do one thing in the world once he graduates college it would be to invest. A teacher that has had the biggest impact on him during middle school is Mrs. Rosano. One thing that he is interested in that most people aren't is stumble guys. Something unique he does that he is proud of is not caring what people think. Something he hopes to accomplish in his life is to make good money.
This is Michal Z. Her favorite thing in middle school was international night in 6th grade. Her favorite thing about 8th grade was making crepes at lunch with her friends. Michal's advice to upcoming 8th graders is to put mental health over school. The biggest thing that changed about Michal is the people she hangs out with. The teacher that had the biggest impact on her during middle school would be Mr. Bernhardt because he got her something that she has always wanted. One thing that Michal is interested in and that most people are not is that she loves researching animals. Something unique that she does is hula-hooping well and doing tricks with it. Something Michal hopes to accomplish in the future is to travel the world and go somewhere with her siblings.
